UAE - Airport Sees 93.8 Million Passengers

ree

Officials say Dubai International Airport has seen 93.8 million passengers [in 2025], surpassing [2024’s] record.

The rapid growth of passengers at the airport underscores Dubai as a key hub for East-West travel in global aviation and the need for its $35 billion project to build a massive five-runway airport at Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central.

A real-estate boom and the city’s highest-ever tourism numbers have made Dubai a destination as well as a layover. However, the city is now grappling with increasing traffic and costs pressuring both its Emirati citizens and the foreign residents who power its economy.

Commentary: The UAE is one of the richest Arab nations. It has a population of 10 million, of which only 11.6% are Emirate, as the majority are foreign nationals. Religiously, 74.5% are Muslim, followed by Christian at 12.9%.

This tiny Arab country is making a name for itself. Life expectancy is 79.9 years (similar to the USA). GDP per capita is $68,600 (2024).

Now, this country is challenging the mighty Atlanta airport, with 108.1 million passengers a year, the busiest airport in the world.

OAG.com published the top five busiest airports in the world as of November 2025: 1) Dubai, 2) Atlanta, 3) Tokyo, 4) Beijing, 5) London.

What is noteworthy is that the UAE is a country where the minority are the citizens and the overwhelming majority are foreigners. Quite apparently, they are successful.

Of interest is the fact that 12.9% claim the Christian religion. Doubtless, here again the Church is being built. This milieu of internationalists is indeed a picture of His Church. From this and various other reliable reports, we gather that the Church—the real one, hidden within Churchianity—is growing and may soon be completed. To that we say, Maranatha!
