The Blessing of an Intensive Seminar

How Arab believers are being equipped to spread the Gospel.

Colossians 1:28 was the theme for our seminar this year: “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

Through the prayers and gifts from our friends, we were able to offer a training course for Arab brothers and sisters in the faith again at the Maranatha House in Dübendorf.

Participants traveled from the US, Egypt, Sweden, Italy, Lebanon, Germany, Kuwait, and Austria. The Lord blessed us with gifted and exceptionally well-prepared speakers. Some of them had an Islamic background themselves, including those from Egypt, Jordan, and Syria.

The schedule was intense. In addition to lessons, Bible studies, and prayer groups, we also held a daily workshop on practical issues that arise when engaging with Muslims.

The course included an evangelistic outreach at the Rhine Falls, where we were able to share literature in various languages with many people from different countries. In addition, we took a trip to Seedorf. While there, we learned how to share the gospel with Muslims through a short role-playing exercise between two leaders.

The highlight was the outreach in Stuttgart, Germany. We were joined by the congregation from Bietigheim-Bissingen, who supported us practically and spiritually. The Lord opened doors in Stuttgart: We had many conversations with Arab Muslims from various countries. We also saw how important our training in Dübendorf was to this practical application. This training was made possible thanks to the help of many brothers and sisters in the ministry.
