GERMANY - Strengthens Intelligence Services

The Cabinet approved draft legislation meant to strengthen Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service, the BND, and its domestic intelligence service, the BfV, and reduce the reliance of the European Union’s most populous nation on tips from its allies.

The threats Germany now faces require intelligence services that are “competitive with our partner services in the European Union, but also with friendly services beyond that,” said Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt.

The reform has been planned for months. The risks Germany faces were underlined last week by the discovery of a drone carrying explosives at Leipzig/Halle airport, a major hub for international freight and for providing support to Ukraine.

Commentary: While the German government avoids naming countries, the undertone about Russian involvement is self-evident. Under “world’s strictest data privacy laws,” we read: “EU – GDPR: Serves as the global gold standard. It requires explicit opt-in consent, grants powerful ‘right to be forgotten’ and data portability rules, and penalizes major violations up to €20 million or 4% of global annual turnover.”

Data privacy protection is definitely something new, since virtually everyone—particularly in the industrial world—carries a cell phone, tablet, smart watch, or laptop. And, apparently, most are quite willing to share private information with those who seek to profit from it.

We know this is part of the end-time game, where the entire world will have to share their data, and in the final stages, hand it over to one man: Antichrist.

But the real data will be uncovered by the Eternal One. Hebrews 4:13 declares: “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”
