USA - Tech Billionaire Prophecy Conference?

Peter Thiel, the tech billionaire who co-founded PayPal and Palantir Technologies, will soon deliver a four-part lecture series on the Antichrist in Nashville.

“The Nashville Antichrist Lectures will draw from history, literature, art, theology and politics to explore the biblical Antichrist through Thiel’s unique vantage point at the frontier of science and technology,” the event page reads.

Thiel has spoken publicly about his belief that humanity faces threats from the biblical Antichrist and by way of Armageddon, the collapse of civilization through global warfare.

Details about the lecture series appear sparse and secretive. The event page describes the series as a “closed-door, off-the-record event” hosted by The Pamphleteer.

Commentary: It is strange that Peter Thiel, a homosexual tech billionaire, purports to be a student of Bible prophecy. Though ostensibly Christian, his theology is a strange mixture of science, technology, philosophy, and libertarianism.

The more one looks into it, the more confusing it becomes. His views seem to consist of a series of disjointed Biblical and historical references against globalism and one-world government, despite the fact he, his “husband,” and the multinational companies they own are clearly part of a global elite. His particular grievances seem to center on global governance; he opposes regulations regarding AI and tax avoidance, for example, and sees them to be part of a one-world antichrist system.

Thiel should remember 2 Peter 1:20: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
