USA - Physicists Trap Particle of Antimatter

The Universe, according to theory at least, should not exist.

Theoretically, the birth of the Universe should have produced equal quantities of particles and antiparticles.

Why the current Universe is so heavily skewed in particles’ favor is an enduring mystery—one whose solution remains all the harder to find because of antiparticles’ tendency to go and collide with particles.

In a cryogenic, superconducting vacuum trap, physicists at Northwestern University in the US successfully kept a single positron for months—a breakthrough that, they say, paves the way to the most rigorous probes yet of particle physics.

Commentary: It’s quite an amazing achievement what physicists now uncover, at least to a certain degree. Nevertheless, in the end, they still will have to admit that “The Universe … should not exist.” Why? Because it’s not subject to physicists, and never will be. The more they discover, the more unending questions arise.

In another report, we noticed that physicists come to the correct conclusion that there is “a higher power.”

For us believers, it’s simple: The third verse in the Bible reads: “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” The apostle John makes it crystal clear: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3).
