Spiritual Strength For Each Day

“By faith he [Abraham] sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country” (Hebrews 11:9).

Where the return of the Lord is concerned, two groups of believers will appear before Him. On the one hand there are those who trusted in religious experiences but did not do the will of the Father, and on the other hand there are those who served Him in faithful obedience until He returned. He turns away from the first group with the words, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:23). To the second group He says, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:21). Please ask yourself the question: Are you living in a strange country spiritually? Are you walking towards Jesus on the straight and narrow path? If you are, the Lord gives you supports so that you can walk this path of sanctification perseveringly:
