“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10).
God does not forget. It is significant to read that our work and our labor of love are directed towards God. That sounds rather narrow-minded from an intellectual perspective. After all, we live in a world ruled by chaos and conflict. We are fed one report after another about the problems taking place not only in our own country, but also around the world. So shouldn’t we busy ourselves with trying to change the world? Or at least try to influence the world? Sometimes we hear believers say we should,
“leave a mark in this world for Christ’s sake,” or “as Christians we are obligated to make a difference in this world.”
But such instructions are not contained in Scripture. We must take the instruction literally: our labor of love must be conclusively directed toward heaven. Our main objectives must be: God, heaven, church. Philippians 3:20 must become a reality: “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Our first priority is to serve the Lord spiritually in the presence of heaven and from that position to wait for Him.

Midnight Call in Zambian!
Our dear brother, missionary evangelist E.M. Mulenga, who has diligently colabored with Midnight Call Ministries since the late 1980s, has reattempted to translate and publish the magazine in the local Zambian language. Here is his report:
ZAMBIA
Missionary Evangelist E. M. Mulenga Calvary greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I just want to thank God first, before anybody, for what He is doing through the Midnight Call magazine African edition. This ministry has affected many. Bringing the Word of God into sitting rooms, offices and public places is one way of reaching souls.
I pray that God will give us the zeal to continue this good work of soul-winning until the day of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I would like to say thank you for the parcels of international Midnight Call magazines I receive from Kenya. This magazine is anointed with messages urgently needed in our country Through the books and magazines provided by Midnight Call Ministries, my own soul and many other people have been richly blessed. How I wish to continue to work as a distributor and translator of Midnight Call in Cibemba for Midnight Call Ministries in Africa. My prayer is, “Please, Lord Jesus, make this worldwide ministry to evangelize Africa, Asia, Europe and America. Thank you for answering my prayer. Amen.” I am laying great emphasis on Africa because we are in dire need of the truth.
Dear beloved, I want to let you know that in 1998 we started presenting our urgent need for a computer in prayers to our Lord Jesus. Now I am happy to report that the Lord God has answered our prayers. I’m the happiest person here in Chililabombwe for the greatest achievement I have made in the ministry of translating the work of Midnight Call Ministries. This computer we have in our possession will go a long way in helping us to do this great work of God.
I assure you that I will continue to publish Midnight Call in Cibemba and distribute the international edition.
Economically speaking, the members of the Alpha and Omega Church Ministries are badly hampered by poverty. This has caused the work of the Lord to be retarded. Regardless of the present membership we are not doing up to the standard God has revealed to us. Now we are presenting this urgent need to you, our friends and supporters of Alpha and Omega Church Ministries. If the Lord has blessed you with the substance to help support the publication of the Cibemba Midnight Call, then do not linger or hesitate in sending your support.
There is another great concern I want to pass on. We pray to become financially independent by having some projects where we can generate the money for all the work. Therefore, kindly pray and see how God guides and provides for you in this matter, remembering our need. Here is our plan: We appeal to you to help us with $3,500 to be used to build four poultry houses where we will raise chickens to sell. This money will be used to buy building materials, food and needed chemicals. Once we start this project the problem of requesting funding will be a thing of the past. I will continue to send reports about all the work that is being done here.
We are also praying to God to help us so we may print more copies of the magazine. Furthermore, I humbly request you to send me more books and some clothes. We
are also planning to get internet connection.
With full confidence in the Lord that our request would be granted and that these materials would reach me at no distant date. God bless you! I need the Lord’s help every day. Thank you once again.
