New Truth?
Hi,
After being in a church for almost 30 years that did not teach the Rapture [the teaching] is still a little new to us. A friend of mine lent me the book, The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church by Marvin Rosenthal. People are always coming up with “new” truths, so we are taking all of this with a grain of salt. What do you think of this “new” truth about the Rapture?

Answer: Scripture says: “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not” (Luke 12:40), which trashes any theory or interpretation about the Lord’s coming other than that it will not be preceded by any signs and can happen at any time. The prewrath Rapture theory teaches that we are to wait for the middle of the Tribulation and not for the Lord, which is an obvious contradiction to Scripture.
