Dear Brother Froese,
Blessings in his holy Name! Because of my current circumstances, my capacity for ministry is somewhat limited. But I would appreciate your biblical insight concerning my heart attitude toward what I’d like to accomplish for my Lord Jesus if I had the opportunity. Namely, I think in my heart on certain things that I’d like to do to bring Him the honor and glory due His holy Name. My question is, will my thoughts and heart attitude be rewarded at the judgment seat? Or will I only receive rewards for the things that I have actually done through His Spirit’s power?

Answer: When “my thoughts and heart attitude” are ruled by His Spirit, it will bring forth fruit. Galatians 5:22-23 reads: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Such servants are described in the next two verses: “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
Thoughts and attitudes, when guided by His Spirit, always lead to total self-abandonment. That will be rewarded.
