Dear Editor,
I really enjoy reading Midnight Call. I am a born - again Christian. I am a southern Baptist.
Brother Arno, I agree that many pastors today seem to only go so far in preaching the truth. I have had maybe a dozen pastors during the last 77 years. They all did preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, some much stronger than others. Many preachers’ messages really hit home.
I am not a Mason. I was asked years ago to apply to be a Mason but my Lord did not lead me to do it. I realize we cannot serve
two masters. I cannot see Masons as Christians.
Please answer and let me know if I am right to think that. Thank you.

Answer: Only one religion reveals the true God, who is clearly described in Scripture as being, “the way, the truth and the life.” And He makes it clear that “no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” There are no other avenues by which to be saved. The fact that Freemasonry is a benevolent organization is not to be debated. The group’s claim is to make a better man out of a good one. However, Freemasonry claims that favor with God can be obtained other than by having faith in Jesus Christ, thus we are bligated to warn people against it.
